Medicine Bottle and Spoon
1877 (certain)
watercolour
Wove paper. 122 × 110 mm (h × b × t)
Comment:
This little watercolour is representative for much of Edvard Munch’s childhood. He was almost chronically ill and had to stay at home for long periods. The medicine bottle on the bedside table was his permanent companion for many years. (MB)
