Comment:
It is not clear where the people in this drawing are situated. They may be sitting in a waiting room of some sort, or in a train compartment or trolley. The trains at that time had benches like those we are accustomed to today, but most trollies, or trams, had benches that ran lengthwise, as in this drawing. We have therefore chosen to give it the title "On the Tram".
