Comment:På side 9 og 10 i denne skisseboken skriver Munch om sine grandnevøers videre skolegang, middelskole og gymnas. I et brev til Inger (MM.N.01587) skriver han at niesen sendte guttene til Eidsvold (gymnas) da de var 17–18 år gamle. De var født henholdsvis i 1917 og –18, og begynte da sannsynligvis på Eidsvold gymnas i 1935. Middelskolen varte i to år, og teksten på side 9–10 ble forfattet da guttenes skolegang var under planlegging, senest i 1933. (MB)
Den karakteristiske runde Doblouggården på side 40 ble oppført i 1933. Siden teksten på side 9–10 er senest 1933 og tegningen på side 40 er tidligst 1933, og siden tegningene i denne boken er nokså homogene med hensyn til stil og teknikk (alle er utført med penn), er det rimelig å tidfeste hele boken til 1933.
